The idea
I believe care is shifting from pay-per-visit to pay-to-keep-you-healthy, with wearable and home data helping doctors catch problems early. This basket leans into doctor groups and insurers that get paid under these value-based models, with smaller stakes in digital chronic-care platforms and the device makers, Apple included, supplying the data behind this shift. I keep some cash in reserve and spread bets across many names rather than one, planning to hold for a couple of years while this payment shift plays out, and I would rethink it if Medicare pulled back from this direction.
