The idea
I believe genetic therapy could roughly double average cat lifespans within five years, and every extra cat-year turns into spending for whoever feeds, treats, and insures that cat. So instead of guessing which private therapy maker wins, I built a basket of the downstream beneficiaries, split evenly between everyday spend like food, litter, and retail, and medical spend like diagnostics, chronic-care drugs, and insurance. No single name dominates either side, and I kept a slice in cash to add if the therapy headlines land and the market catches on.
