The idea
I believe the ocean will become a major engine for pulling carbon out of the air, through alkalinity enhancement, seabed storage, and coastal habitat restoration. Since the companies doing the actual removal are private, I own the public businesses that enable, verify, and supply that work: ocean data and monitoring firms, marine contractors, and mineral and desalination suppliers, balanced with a few larger, steadier names. A small slice backs companies paying for carbon removal, a sliver is a long-shot bet on wave energy, and I keep cash on hand to add during pullbacks.
