The idea
I think Google's consumer AI agent launches in Q1 2027 and the stock pops on that event, regardless of whether it beats rivals. Half the basket is Alphabet itself, split across both share classes to get around single-position limits, and the other half plays the supply chain building out Google's chip fleet, plus a smaller slice of broader AI arms-race suppliers. I'm holding 12% in cash to add to Alphabet if it dips before the launch window.
What it owns
- The core of the take: the stock expected to experience significant upside, held through both Alphabet share classes to comprise half the basket. · Alphabet Inc. Class AAlphabet is developing a consumer AI agent to compete with similar offerings from other tech companies, with a planned launch window that could drive market interest in the stock., Alphabet Inc. Class CThis Class C share tracks the same company and same agent launch bet as GOOGL, allowing the take to split its Google exposure across both tickers.50%
- A consumer agent launch means Google will order more of its own TPU chips to run the service at scale, creating demand across the companies that design, manufacture and assemble them. · Broadcom Inc.It co-designs Google's TPU chips, so a consumer agent launch will increase orders for its components as Google scales chip production., Taiwan Semiconductor ManufacturingIt manufactures the TPU chips that will power Google's consumer agent at scale, making it a direct beneficiary of the production ramp., Celestica Inc.It assembles the server racks that house Google's TPU fleet, so a larger chip buildout ahead of the agent launch drives more rack assembly orders., Micron TechnologyEvery TPU Google produces for the agent requires its high-bandwidth memory, making it a core component in the chip supply chain.25%
- A Google agent launch will likely trigger spending across the entire AI industry as other companies race to match it, driving orders for compute, power infrastructure and data center connectivity regardless of whose agent wins. · NVIDIA CorporationGoogle will likely continue buying its GPUs alongside its own chips, and competitive pressure from other agent launches will push all three major players to expand compute spending., Vertiv HoldingsIt supplies the power and cooling systems that every new AI data center needs, so the agent arms race between Google, Meta and others will drive infrastructure buildout across the industry., Coherent Corp.It makes the optical interconnects that wire AI chips together inside data centers, and denser clusters built for consumer agent launches will increase demand for these connections.13%
