The idea
My belief is that intelligence is downstream of cheap electrons and cheap matter, abundant power feeding compute, and compute reaching back into the physical world through robots and machines. I built this as a full stack, from generation and nuclear at the base, through the grid equipment that's the real bottleneck right now, up to compute and finally the machines that turn bits into action on atoms.
What it owns
- The transformers, turbines, and electrical equipment with years-long delivery delays are the tightest constraint in connecting new power plants to data centers. · GE VernovaIt manufactures turbines and grid equipment with years of unfilled orders, sitting directly on the bottleneck between new power plants and data centers., EatonIt makes the transformers and electrical components moving power from generation plants to data centers, equipment currently backed up years in delivery., Quanta ServicesIt provides the construction labor and engineering that connects new power generation to new data center capacity across the grid., VertivIt supplies the power distribution and cooling systems inside data centers, the final step before electricity becomes computing capacity., HubbellIt manufactures transformers and grid components with among the longest lead times in the entire supply chain, emblematic of the electrical equipment shortage.29%
- The semiconductors and memory that convert electricity into computing power, forming the foundation of the artificial intelligence buildout. · NVIDIAIt supplies the chips that convert cheap electricity into artificial intelligence capabilities, making it central to whether the demand for advanced computing persists., Taiwan SemiconductorIt manufactures nearly all advanced artificial intelligence chips at the cutting edge of the technology, making it the production backbone of the compute layer., BroadcomIt designs custom artificial intelligence chips and networking gear for large technology companies seeking to diversify their semiconductor sources., Micron TechnologyIt manufactures high-bandwidth memory that every artificial intelligence chip requires, one of only three companies globally capable of this production.24%
- The nuclear operators and independent power producers selling electrons into a market where demand from artificial intelligence is outrunning available supply. · Constellation EnergyIt operates the largest nuclear fleet in the country, providing the steady, carbon-free electricity that data centers increasingly demand under long-term contracts., VistraIt generates and sells power into markets where prices rise sharply when supply runs short, profiting directly from tight electricity conditions., Talen EnergyIt sells nuclear power directly to data centers under long-term contracts, the most direct connection between power generation and artificial intelligence demand., NRG EnergyIt generates and sells power as an independent operator, benefiting whenever electricity becomes scarce and prices rise across unregulated markets., BWX TechnologiesIt manufactures components for nuclear reactors, winning from any expansion in nuclear power regardless of reactor size or design., OkloIt develops small next-generation nuclear reactors designed specifically to power data centers, a long-term bet on specialized nuclear capacity.23%
- The robots and automation systems that let artificial intelligence reach back into the physical world to move, build, and manufacture. · TeslaIt develops autonomous vehicles and humanoid robots that run on inexpensive computing power, representing the practical application of artificial intelligence to physical systems., Rockwell AutomationIt supplies the software and control systems that automate factories and manufacturing, enabling artificial intelligence to direct physical production., TeradyneIt makes robotic arms for factory automation and test equipment for semiconductor manufacturing, touching both the computing and physical automation layers., SymboticIt automates entire warehouse operations using artificial intelligence and robotics, demonstrating computing power directly optimizing physical material movement.14%
