The idea
I believe the investment pledges Trump secured from companies and countries are starting to turn into real factories, pipelines, mines and power projects, and that the industries tech left behind over the past decade, manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas, are the ones that get paid for it. The bulk of the portfolio sits in US builders, equipment makers, energy producers and materials companies feeding that construction, with a smaller slice in Argentina and Mexico to capture allied countries riding the same wave.
What it owns
- New factories and plants run on oil and natural gas supplied by US producers and exported to allied nations. · Exxon MobilIt operates US shale, refining and chemical assets that all benefit when domestic industrial production expands., EQT CorporationIt is among the largest US natural gas producers supplying factories, power plants and LNG export terminals with fuel., Cheniere EnergyIt exports US natural gas under long-term contracts to allied nations and operates terminals being expanded for increased capacity., Baker HughesIt provides equipment and services for gas production, LNG facilities and power generation across the US and Americas region.20%
- New plants need electrical gear, turbines, machinery and automation to operate from the moment they open. · Eaton CorporationIt makes the switchgear, transformers and electrical equipment installed inside new plants and on the grids that feed them., GE VernovaIt sells the gas turbines and grid equipment needed to power manufacturing growth and supply chain buildup., CaterpillarIts equipment digs mines, moves earth for new plants and powers remote sites across mining, construction and energy sectors., Rockwell AutomationIt sells the controls and automation systems that operate modern factory floors once new US plants are built and equipped.20%
- Contractors and engineers receive payment early in the cycle when pledged funding converts into actual construction projects. · Quanta ServicesIt builds power lines, substations and electrical hookups that factories and plants need before operations can begin., EMCOR GroupIt performs the electrical and mechanical installation work inside factories and industrial facilities as they are being constructed., Fluor CorporationIt engineers and manages megaprojects in energy, mining and manufacturing, the type of work that foreign pledges are meant to fund., Sterling InfrastructureIt clears and prepares land for large sites like factories and data centers, typically hired first when projects break ground.17%
- Industrial construction at scale requires copper, steel, aggregates and rare earths, with domestic sourcing now expanding. · Freeport-McMoRanIt is the largest US copper miner and supplies the wiring, motors and transformers that industrial construction requires., NucorIt is the largest US steelmaker supplying the domestic mills favored for new factories, pipelines and infrastructure., Vulcan MaterialsIt supplies crushed stone and gravel for every foundation and site, with local production that import competition cannot undercut., MP MaterialsIt operates the main US rare earths mine and builds domestic magnet production as the government reshapes supply chains away from China.17%
- Trump-friendly neighbors benefit through nearshored manufacturing, shale oil development and copper mining expansion. · Vista EnergyIt is a pure-play Vaca Muerta producer offering direct exposure to Argentina's shale oil growth under pro-business policies., YPF Sociedad AnonimaIt operates in Argentina's Vaca Muerta shale field under a government friendly to foreign investment and production growth., Canadian Pacific Kansas CityIt operates the only single-operator railroad connecting Canada, the US and Mexico and carries freight as supply chains shift closer., CemexIt is Mexico's largest cement maker with a significant US business, gaining from both nearshored factories and domestic construction., Southern CopperIt mines copper in Mexico and Peru, sourcing from Trump-friendly neighbors with some of the world's largest copper reserves.17%
