Weak Euro, Strong Dollar

The idea
I think France's political and fiscal mess keeps pressuring the euro while the dollar holds up, so this basket leans into the dollar directly through dollar-index funds plus a small euro-short position, backed by US companies that earn almost entirely at home so currency swings don't dent their results. Around that sit exchanges that benefit when markets get volatile and some safe-haven holdings for ballast. No single position dominates, and cash is kept on the higher side since so many traders already share this view, meaning good news from Paris could snap the euro back quickly.
