RBA Tight for Longer

The idea
I think the RBA stays tight for longer, maybe even hikes again, which should keep the Australian dollar firm and support the big banks' lending margins. I'm expressing that through two Australia-focused equity funds for bank exposure and a direct currency position for the Aussie dollar, with a quarter held in cash. The idea breaks if unemployment rises and home prices keep falling, since that combination could push the RBA to cut and hit both the currency and the banks together.
