The idea
I believe robots, of every kind, will outnumber people within a decade, so this basket owns both sides of that shift. Part of it holds the companies building robots themselves, from humanoids to surgical and warehouse machines, and part owns what every robot needs regardless of who wins: the chips, sensors, motors, and systems that make them see, think, and move. It leans on steady industrial and semiconductor names as ballast, keeps a modest cash reserve to add on dips, and treats this as a long structural shift rather than a quick trade.
What it owns
- These companies build the actual robots, from surgical and warehouse machines to humanoids and autonomous farm equipment. · Intuitive Surgical, Inc.It dominates the operating room with surgical robots that perform millions of procedures a year., Tesla, Inc.It is developing a general-purpose humanoid robot aimed at mass production for widespread adoption., Rockwell Automation, Inc.It sells the control systems that run automated factories where robots operate on production floors., Symbotic Inc.It builds complete warehouse robot fleets installed and operated for large retailers., Deere & CompanyIt is turning tractors into autonomous farm robots that operate without a driver.26%
- Cameras, sensors and vision systems let robots know where they are and what they are touching in the physical world. · TE Connectivity plcIt makes the sensors and connectors that wire robots together and connect them to other industrial equipment., Analog Devices, Inc.It makes chips that turn touch, motion and sound into signals a robot can sense and act on., Cognex CorporationIt specializes in machine vision systems that let factory and warehouse robots see and handle objects., ON Semiconductor CorporationIt makes the image sensor chips that give robots eyes to see their surroundings., Mobileye Global Inc.It sells the vision systems that let autonomous vehicles drive themselves on roads.22%
- Every robot needs chips to think with, and these companies supply the processors that robot builders train and run their intelligence on. · NVIDIA CorporationIt sells the chips and software that most robot builders train and run their intelligence on., Qualcomm IncorporatedIt supplies chips that do the thinking directly on the robot itself where power and heat are constrained., Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.It supplies processors for robot brains as a second source of computing power for the growing market.19%
- These companies install robots into warehouses and factories, then provide the software and systems to keep them running. · Zebra Technologies CorporationIt makes the scanners, tracking systems and mobile robots that warehouses rely on for automation., Emerson Electric Co.It sells software and controls that tie automated factories together and connect robotic systems., Honeywell International Inc.It builds the systems that put robots to work inside warehouses and plants.13%
- Motors, gearing and motion control are the physical parts that make robots move and do work regardless of who builds the body. · Regal Rexnord CorporationIt supplies motors and gearing that every moving robot needs regardless of which maker builds it., Novanta Inc.It makes precision motion and photonics components that robot makers use instead of building themselves., Parker-Hannifin CorporationIt supplies motion and control systems across industry as demand for automation spending grows.13%
