The idea
I believe Türkiye is on its way to becoming a top-10 AI economy, driven by homegrown tech and defense innovation, with export deals and foreign investment as the catalysts over the next few years. Since the real crown jewels aren't listed abroad, I built the closest buyable version: a broad Türkiye fund as the anchor for defense exposure, alongside the Turkish tech names actually trading on US exchanges. The buyable list is short and the market can be choppy, so I keep the basket concentrated and hold a larger cash reserve to add on dips.
What it owns

- The broad Türkiye fund is the only US-listed way to own ASELSAN and the defense complex driving this take. · iShares MSCI Turkey ETFIt tracks Istanbul's broad market and includes leading Turkish defense companies, offering the main US-listed way to own Türkiye's defense and AI ecosystem.25%
